The ancient stone farmhouse dates back to the second half of the 19th century. It is made up of a main house and of rooms with bathroom furnished in typical Tuscan style with 2/3/4 beds, heating and TV, and of two-rooms flates obtained from the ancient stables and cellars.The costruction is sorrounded by a widw colonnade equipped with tables and cellars.

The farmhouse is equipped with inner parking, playground, relaxation area, swimming pool, barbecue, mountain bikes, horse riding ground 10 Km far and trekking paths.

The farmhouse LA FORNACE rises in one of the most beautiful places of Tuscany, sunk in nature and amongst the greenery but close to the most important places of interest.

The particular position allows our guests to choose between enjoying the typical peacefulness of the country, organizing tours and excursion to the resorts of the Tyrrhenian coast, such as Livorno, Castiglioncello, Cecina Mare, Marina di Bibbona, San Vincenzo, Baratti, Piombino for the island of Elba and going through the routes of the many cities of art such as Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Florence, Populonia, or the famous "Strade del Vino" (wine routes) tasting the most important wines of the world such as "Ornellaia" and "Sassicaia".

Our "Merenderia" is also at the disposal of our guests to enjoy our cold buffet and taste all the Tuscan specialities.
